Narrative:

While working in l-hand wing, fuel spar area, I noticed loose safety wire on the #1 forward boost pump pressure transmitter line. If this transmitter works loose, fuel could leak into enclosed area of the inboard leading edge, possibly sticking a bleed air duct in area. Should be re-safetied.

Title: A B737-300 WAS FOUND TO HAVE THE FUEL PRESSURE XMITTER LINE 'B' NUT FOR THE #1 FORWARD BOOST PUMP IMPROPERLY SAFETY WIRED.

Narrative: WHILE WORKING IN L-HAND WING, FUEL SPAR AREA, I NOTICED LOOSE SAFETY WIRE ON THE #1 FORWARD BOOST PUMP PRESSURE XMITTER LINE. IF THIS XMITTER WORKS LOOSE, FUEL COULD LEAK INTO ENCLOSED AREA OF THE INBOARD LEADING EDGE, POSSIBLY STICKING A BLEED AIR DUCT IN AREA. SHOULD BE RE-SAFETIED.
