Narrative:

Stabilized at FL330, we heard an odd noise and upon investigation discovered the right front outer windshield to be shattered and unusable for forward vision. We immediately: 1) declared an emergency and requested 10000 ft altitude, 2) reduced cabin pressure differential to 1.0 psi, and 3) reduced airspeed to less than 250 KTS. After establishing communications with system operational control, we elected to divert to cleveland due to WX considerations and fuel reserve considerations. The arrival and landing were normal. There were no injuries.
