Narrative:

I was the PF on a flight from abe to cvg. Departure cleared us to 8000 ft MSL. I engaged the automation at approximately 7500 ft MSL. When the aircraft reached 8000 ft MSL, the captain commanded to disengage the automation and hand-fly the aircraft back to 8000 ft. Departure asked us if we were leveling off at 8000 ft MSL. The captain confirmed we were leveling off at 8000 ft MSL. Supplemental information from acn 475613: there was no conflict with any other traffic of any kind. The flight blew through our assigned altitude by 500 ft.

Title: ALT OVERSHOOT NEAR ALLENTOWN, PA.

Narrative: I WAS THE PF ON A FLT FROM ABE TO CVG. DEP CLRED US TO 8000 FT MSL. I ENGAGED THE AUTOMATION AT APPROX 7500 FT MSL.
