Narrative:

We were on an IFR flight from mgy to bdl. While in cruise at FL290 we had been talking to ZID. After quite a bit of time, I thought we should have changed ctrs since we were in central pennsylvania. We tried to call ZID but got no response. We then checked our position on the IFR en route and found a frequency for ZNY. We contacted them and were given the correct frequency to continue our flight.
