Narrative:

After briefing ILS approach, and completing all descent (preliminary approach) checklists. While on vectors for ILS runway 18R, I tuned the #1 navigation to the ILS runway 18L frequency. The first officer had the #2 navigation tuned to clt VOR for the DME information. I failed to identify the #1 navigation. Clt approach vectored us for the intercept and cleared us for the approach. We flew through the localizer for runway 18R and intercepted the runway 18L localizer. Clt approach noticed we were off course and gave us an immediate turn to intercept the runway 18R localizer. We complied and completed the approach and landing without further incident.
