Narrative:

We were flying air carrier flight abcd from kjfk/jfk to rjaa/nrt. On departure we were cleared to climb to FL230. We inadvertently reached FL232.2 on the captain's altimeter before descending back to FL230. Before descending back to FL231.5, we were cleared to FL280. There was no observed traffic on our TCASII.

Narrative: WE WERE FLYING ACR FLT ABCD FROM KJFK/JFK TO RJAA/NRT. ON DEP WE WERE CLRED TO CLB TO FL230. WE INADVERTENTLY REACHED FL232.2 ON THE CAPT'S ALTIMETER BEFORE DSNDING BACK TO FL230. BEFORE DSNDING BACK TO FL231.5, WE WERE CLRED TO FL280. THERE WAS NO OBSERVED TFC ON OUR TCASII.
