Narrative:

Climbing through FL180 I believe we were distraction by discussion on ATC ranting amongst ourselves, and we forgot to place the altimeter setting to 29.92. Instead we left it at 30.15. At FL210 we were actually at FL212.3. We did not have any altitude incursions with other aircraft. The first officer and I both realized the mistake during descent and on subsequent flts paid a great deal of attention even to the minor details.
