Narrative:

After a 2 hour delay related to a mechanical problem, we took off for bna. About 1 hour into the flight (during the dinner service), the lights went out in the cabin and galley power was off too. It was dark, except for a few scattered reading lights on (no emergency floor or exit lighting either). We pulled out the emergency flashlights to light the galleys, to put things away and prepare for landing. We obtained the test information from our captain, secured the cabin and landed in abq with no emergency. We taxied to the gate and deplaned and boarded another aircraft and continued onto bna.
