Narrative:

FL350 to tpa 250 mi north of tpa. We were never handed off to ZJX. We searched for the appropriate frequency. There were no indications of any traffic conflicts. Atlanta or jacksonville should have tried to contact us through our ACARS system. Supplemental information from acn 468356: we do not know if center forgot to switch us or we did not hear it. When we finally established communications with ZJX, they had to take us off the airway to descend us.
