Narrative:

I was 3RD in line to take off at runway 3, hxd. Sav approach notified me, when I was #1 that an incoming aircraft was on localizer inbound, 10 mi out and to hold. Controller after several mins cleared me to take off. I thought incoming aircraft had missed or diverted. I accepted my clearance and advised sav that I was going to unicom to announce my intentions, which I did. Hearing no answer, I started my takeoff roll. Just after rolling down runway, I noticed the incoming commercial aircraft on short final (to runway 21) at opposite end of my runway (runway 3). I taxied off runway and notified savannah controller. She appeared not too interested.
