Narrative:
Heading (ATC) 100 degrees. ATC instructed a turn to 060 degrees (complied), then another turn to 020 degrees (complied). Traffic in sight ATC says that minimum separation was less than it should have been. I believe the turns were issued too late.

Title: A B757 CREW RECEIVES DELAYED VECTORS FROM ZTL CTLR WHO ADMITS TO A LOSS OF SEPARATION FROM OTHER TFC NEAR ATL, GA.
Narrative: HDG (ATC) 100 DEGS. ATC INSTRUCTED A TURN TO 060 DEGS (COMPLIED), THEN ANOTHER TURN TO 020 DEGS (COMPLIED). TFC IN SIGHT ATC SAYS THAT MINIMUM SEPARATION WAS LESS THAN IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN. I BELIEVE THE TURNS WERE ISSUED TOO LATE.
