Narrative:

On mar/xa/00 an air carrier X B727-200 with 149 seats was dispatched as a part 121 supplemental (charter) flight to vny airport. I was not under the impression that a supplemental flight could not go into a non 139 airport. All the research was done with the vny tower and airport authority/authorized as to find out if the airport could support a B727 aircraft. With everything looking in order the flight was dispatched.
