Z time: XA52Z. Frequency/altitude: 119.3/500 ft. ATC facility: fll tower. Location: fll/270 degrees radial/2 NM. On takeoff out of fort lauderdale, it was necessary to deviate from runway heading at low altitude to avoid a collision with a single engine cessna. Deviation was initiated prior to receiving an RA. During the maneuver, a monitor vertical speed warning was received. No TA's were given by tower. Aircraft was returned to runway heading when traffic was clear. Remainder of flight was uneventful.
