Narrative:

Completed a landing at lax without talking to the control tower. Unfamiliar with an east landing at lax and new to the aircraft. We were held high on approach and close in to the runway to follow another B757 when we had him in sight. We were rushed to find the traffic, get on profile, and configure the aircraft for landing -- and somewhere after being cleared for the visual approach, failed to call the tower. It was not discovered until clearing the runway and attempting to contact ground control.
