Narrative:

While taxiing between a parked fuel truck and parked airplane on the ramp, my left wingtip strobe light struck the rudder of a piper colt. There was no damage to my airplane and no apparent damage to the other plane. The owner is having the rudder inspected. The other party filed a report with the city of prescott. In their opinion, the fuel truck should not be parked this close to the taxi area and in addition, the taxi markings are improper. Corrective action: be more careful while taxiing. Even though I felt there was sufficient room to pass both obstacles, in hindsight I realize it was poor judgement. Contributing factors: location of the fuel truck and inadequate taxi markings/signage.
