Narrative:

Total loss of pressurization during climb to FL370. Standby and manual backups did not work. No other abnormal or cause noted. Oxygen masks deployed. Flight attendant reported fumes in cabin, but probably due to oxygen generators. Emergency declared, descent and return to abq uneventful landing. Cause unknown at writing. Control of outflow valve regained after landing. Communication with cockpit and cabin difficult due to intermittent interphone in oxygen mask.

Title: A B737-300 CLBING THROUGH 17000 FT HAS A COMPLETE LOSS OF CABIN PRESSURE, BEING UNABLE TO CTL THE PRESSURIZATION SYS BY PRIMARY OR ALTERNATE MEANS UNTIL BACK ON THE GND AT ABQ, NM.
