Narrative:

Denied 6 month simulator training. Requested my 6 month simulator training with dfw chief pilot and he requested it via computer as I waited. Didn't hear from training after about 3 or 4 weeks and asked chief pilot to request it again, which he did by phone. Received a computer message that I could expect a short notice for training, but I never heard anything. My window, according to the message, was oct-dec/99. I hope I can train outside of this window for proficiency since I was denied training in the window.

Narrative: DENIED 6 MONTH SIMULATOR TRAINING. REQUESTED MY 6 MONTH SIMULATOR TRAINING WITH DFW CHIEF PLT AND HE REQUESTED IT VIA COMPUTER AS I WAITED. DIDN'T HEAR FROM TRAINING AFTER ABOUT 3 OR 4 WKS AND ASKED CHIEF PLT TO REQUEST IT AGAIN, WHICH HE DID BY PHONE. RECEIVED A COMPUTER MESSAGE THAT I COULD EXPECT A SHORT NOTICE FOR TRAINING, BUT I NEVER HEARD ANYTHING. MY WINDOW, ACCORDING TO THE MESSAGE, WAS OCT-DEC/99. I HOPE I CAN TRAIN OUTSIDE OF THIS WINDOW FOR PROFICIENCY SINCE I WAS DENIED TRAINING IN THE WINDOW.
