Narrative:

ZAB gave us a crossing restr at 10 mi east of zun at FL310. I heard FL310 10 mi west of zun and defined a waypoint and crossing altitude of FL310. Subsequently, ZAB asked if we were going to make the restr, at which the first officer said it was 10 mi east of zun. Maximum descent was initiated and the restr was made thanks to the alert controller. I thought that the first officer had observed the initial input of the crossing restr, but I failed to ask if he concurred. Lesson relearned: always confirm FMC inputs with the other pilot.
