Narrative:

On a phase check with student. Proceeded to conduct an emergency practice, engine out approach. Student selected a field from 3000 ft AGL. Completed emergency procedures and proceeded to set up for a simulated emergency landing. Field selected was ample. Maneuvered to the field, at 550 ft AGL (1100 ft MSL). Proceeded with go around. Owner complained of flying too low over his land and home.
