Narrative:

Was cleared for takeoff runway 4R in bos. Takeoff run was not initiated due to takeoff confign warning horn activation when thrust levers were advanced. Thrust levers were retarded, remained at taxi speed, but expedited to turn off active runway onto runway 9. There was an aircraft on short final for runway 4R, and we had to call tower twice because of blocked transmission to let them know we were still on the runway. After clearing active runway, we stopped and rechked flaps and trim setting. Flaps were verified to still be set at 5 degrees and trim setting indicated 5.6 as per weight and balance. Recycled trim through full range nose up/down. Reset stabilizer trim to original setting of 5.6 and advanced thrust levers. This time warning horn remained silent. Taxied back to runway and uneventful takeoff was accomplished. Anomaly was annotated in aircraft logbook. This has happened several times in the past to me (second time this month). Do not know why but on this occasion could have had something to do with incidental effects associated with hydraulic servicing that was done at the gate. During servicing was directed by maintenance personnel to turn off the electric hydraulic power to flight controls. Winds were gusting to over 20 KTS which created a lot of control movement as noted by control yoke movement. This could have contributed to the anomaly. I also suspect the age and well used condition of the B737-200's to also be a factor in cases such as this.
