Narrative:

Heading 145 degrees on radar vector at FL290 approximately 55 NM southeast of bna. Center issued clearance to immediately descend to FL240 and turn left to 090 degree heading. We then got a TA which showed the other aircraft 2 NM at our 4 O'clock position. Leveled out at FL260 and when clear, was cleared on course back up to FL330. Supplemental information from acn 456875: while at FL290 50 NM southeast of bna on a heading of 145 degrees assigned by center, we were told to descend immediately to FL240. We got a TA on the TCASII showing an aircraft at our 4 O'clock position at our altitude and 2 mi away.
