Narrative:
Holding short of runway 24R at lax, I was flying, and a bonanza landed. I was cleared for takeoff while the bonanza was still on the runway only about 2000 ft ahead of me and not showing any indication of exiting the runway. I delayed my takeoff until he was clear. Had I continued and taken off, there is no doubt I would have run the smaller aircraft over!
