Narrative:

Captain was PF. Cleared to cross cofax intersection on the bunts 1 arrival to phl at FL250. Cruise altitude FL330. Captain was preoccupied with approach review. Although altitude restr was entered on mcdu and in altitude select window on FMS, he did not initiated descent until we were about 8 NM from crossing fix. With 100 KT tailwind, it was obvious that we would miss restr. Advised ATC we would be high. ATC issued a turn off course. No further incident resulted.
