Narrative:

In sum: mooney club aircraft on night flight check ride. Reporter completed low approach to a go around and during the go around received a simulated engine failure. During the engine loss SOP's, the reporter called for gear and flaps up and after getting aircraft under control, decided to land straight ahead. He remembered the flaps and forgot to re-drop the gear. The check pilot also seemed to have forgotten to drop the landing gear. This all resulted in a smooth gear up landing with minimal aircraft damage. No injuries. Local law enforcement personnel and fire control personnel responded until the aircraft could be removed from the runway.
