Narrative:

At 14000 ft on the cince 3 arrival to cvg, ZID issued a clearance to cross the tigrr intersection at 11000 ft. Later, roughly 5 mi northeast of tigrr, ATC queried us whether or not we'd make the crossing restr. We answered in the negative. However, once the question was answered we increased the rate of descent and crossed approximately 1 NM from tigrr at 11000 ft. ATC turned us off of the arrival for a brief period, once at 11000 ft -- we were reclred to join the arrival, without further incident. Factors involved, include preoccupation with the descent checklist, initially, the clearance to cross tigrr was issued approximately 70 NM from tigrr.

Title: XING RESTR DIFFICULT TO MEET FOR ACR CREW, FLC WAS DISTRACTED. LATE REMINDER BY ATC WAS AN ASSIST.

Narrative: AT 14000 FT ON THE CINCE 3 ARR TO CVG, ZID ISSUED A CLRNC TO CROSS THE TIGRR INTXN AT 11000 FT. LATER, ROUGHLY 5 MI NE OF TIGRR, ATC QUERIED US WHETHER OR NOT WE'D MAKE THE XING RESTR. WE ANSWERED IN THE NEGATIVE. HOWEVER, ONCE THE QUESTION WAS ANSWERED WE INCREASED THE RATE OF DSCNT AND CROSSED APPROX 1 NM FROM TIGRR AT 11000 FT. ATC TURNED US OFF OF THE ARR FOR A BRIEF PERIOD, ONCE AT 11000 FT -- WE WERE RECLRED TO JOIN THE ARR, WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. FACTORS INVOLVED, INCLUDE PREOCCUPATION WITH THE DSCNT CHKLIST, INITIALLY, THE CLRNC TO CROSS TIGRR WAS ISSUED APPROX 70 NM FROM TIGRR.
