Narrative:
Cleared for a visual approach. Upon landing, we were not able to contact the tower. We switched radios and were able to establish communications with the tower. I was not able to positively state that we had been cleared to land. Possible radio problem or possible failure to check in with the tower. Fatigue was a factor. We had an XA00 morning check-in and I had not slept well. Solution: avoid early check-INS.
