Narrative:

Location: mitts intersection. On pdz arrival, assigned runway 25L, after pdz VOR runway change to runway 24R. Went heads down to change approach in CDU. The approach would not come up for some reason, probably due to operator error. Realized that we were getting behind, so tuned new ILS frequency manually and intercepted localizer for runway 24R. Altitude crossing mitts may have been 3500 ft high. By the time I caught up with events, we were within parameters for the approach, but I couldn't swear to the mitts altitude. Lesson learned: first get the raw data changed, then mess with the box.
