Narrative:

While climbing to FL260, cabin pressure loss occurred at FL250. Cabin rate of climb pegged. Advised center had to leave altitude and started down. I think received clearance to FL180 then 15000 ft. After approximately 1 1/2 mi, was able to control cabin manually. Complied with all checklists and did not declare emergency, continued to stl.

Title: FLC OF A B727 DECLARED AN EMER AND DSNDED AFTER LOSS OF CABIN PRESSURIZATION.

Narrative: WHILE CLBING TO FL260, CABIN PRESSURE LOSS OCCURRED AT FL250. CABIN RATE OF CLB PEGGED. ADVISED CTR HAD TO LEAVE ALT AND STARTED DOWN. I THINK RECEIVED CLRNC TO FL180 THEN 15000 FT. AFTER APPROX 1 1/2 MI, WAS ABLE TO CTL CABIN MANUALLY. COMPLIED WITH ALL CHKLISTS AND DID NOT DECLARE EMER, CONTINUED TO STL.
