Narrative:

In the dsr control room I was attempting to transition to split mode on the vscs when all radios and landlines blanked out on the turki high position. I do not know what caused this to happen. The r-side moved to the d-side to continue communications with the aircraft. This transition was being attempted because the vscs tracker equipment has not been moved to this position, for some unknown reason. While attempting to right the equipment, the radios and landlines returned, although I can't tell you why.

Narrative: IN THE DSR CTL ROOM I WAS ATTEMPTING TO TRANSITION TO SPLIT MODE ON THE VSCS WHEN ALL RADIOS AND LANDLINES BLANKED OUT ON THE TURKI HIGH POS. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT CAUSED THIS TO HAPPEN. THE R-SIDE MOVED TO THE D-SIDE TO CONTINUE COMS WITH THE ACFT. THIS TRANSITION WAS BEING ATTEMPTED BECAUSE THE VSCS TRACKER EQUIP HAS NOT BEEN MOVED TO THIS POS, FOR SOME UNKNOWN REASON. WHILE ATTEMPTING TO RIGHT THE EQUIP, THE RADIOS AND LANDLINES RETURNED, ALTHOUGH I CAN'T TELL YOU WHY.
