Narrative:

I made contact with dallas fort worth, approach. They started to vector me to the airport and told me to expect runway 13L. Of course, they were trying to keep me out of class B airspace as long as possible, so they told me that I had to descend from 5500 ft to 2000 ft. I descended the assigned altitude as soon as it was possible. I was in straight and level flight, following dfw approach instructions flying in class east airspace, and when I was about to enter class B airspace I realized that there was a traffic really close to me. It was a twin-engine airplane, coming right to me. He was climbing, and my first reaction was to pitch the nose down while he was climbing. I tried to get the tail number of that aircraft, but I couldn't get it, so I reported to dfw approach that we had a traffic very close to me, and he limited to tell me 'roger.'
