Narrative:

While awaiting taxi clearance, ground personnel pushed another aircraft into our aircraft. The rudder of the other aircraft contacted our horizontal stabilizer causing damage to both. At the time, our aircraft was parked with the parking brake engaged and all exterior lighting operating normally. Neither I nor the captain saw the other aircraft prior to contact, due to the other aircraft's position relative to our field of view. The main causes for the occurrence were the lack of wing walkers during the pushback operation along with night conditions. Corrective action would require the use of wing walkers during pushback at night.
