Narrative:
Southeast of jfk, heading southwest, about to turn base for VOR runway 13L, passing through 12000 ft, we received a TCASII. Southeast of jfk heading southwest descending to 11000 ft, we received a TCASII RA passing through 12000 ft. Captain climbed the aircraft. I estimate we passed 200 ft above and 1 NM in front of a high wing turboprop. After we were clear, we proceeded to jfk without a problem.
