Narrative:
The pilot informed me, as flight attendant #1, of the mechanical. We felt that there was no need to prepare for emergency landing at the time. Being a new flight attendant I was totally impressed, with our captain -- he was thorough, well prepared, kept us informed and calm. I had total confidence in him.
