Narrative:

On jul/xa/99, I worked overtime on aircraft xyz. I was informed that a bearing had come apart ahd needed to be replaced. The turnover I received was that a flap transmission was en route from atl and when it got here I was to rob the bearing assembly from it and install it on the transmission on the aircraft. This involved removing the 4 attach bolts and pulling it off of the transmission by hand. No rigging of the bearing assembly was required and the job took less than 1 hour. I believe the cause of the problem was a bad turnover.
