Narrative:
Entered class B airspace with permission of approach operating under 'VFR flight following,' receiving vectors to xyz from approach control. Due to workload of controller on approach frequency, I was not given approval for frequency change to tower until after incursion into airport control zone. In retrospect, I should have circled while re-requesting frequency change.

Narrative: ENTERED CLASS B AIRSPACE WITH PERMISSION OF APCH OPERATING UNDER 'VFR FLT FOLLOWING,' RECEIVING VECTORS TO XYZ FROM APCH CTL. DUE TO WORKLOAD OF CTLR ON APCH FREQ, I WAS NOT GIVEN APPROVAL FOR FREQ CHANGE TO TWR UNTIL AFTER INCURSION INTO ARPT CTL ZONE. IN RETROSPECT, I SHOULD HAVE CIRCLED WHILE RE-REQUESTING FREQ CHANGE.
