Narrative:

Luscombe 8A recently restored (16 hours tt). Owner/pilot only occupant. While on route from oshkosh, wi, to blairsville, GA, landing approach to owensboro landing prechk showed zero oil pressure indicated and +300 degrees of oil temperature. Immediate decision made to depart approach path and select a landing site, on country roadway. Precautionary landing on roadway completed without incident or damage. Temperature en route and at time of oil pressure loss was 100 degrees F at 3000-4000 ft. Total cause not yet determined.

Narrative: LUSCOMBE 8A RECENTLY RESTORED (16 HRS TT). OWNER/PLT ONLY OCCUPANT.
