Narrative:

Lax tower instructed our flight to cross runway 24L and hold short runway 24R at taxiway V. Tower then requested a 180 degree turn in order to hold short runway 24L at taxiway V. Captain transmitted that we could comply and added power to start aircraft rolling. Aircraft rolled over hold short line to runway 24R. I simultaneously informed him that we had an aircraft on final for runway 24R. We stopped with our aircraft partially over hold short line for runway 24R. We informed tower that we needed approach end of runway 24R to accomplish 180 degree turn. They approved request and we exited runway 24R with final approach aircraft at 2 NM. Solution: don't move the aircraft until you're sure that you can maneuver as requested. I should have been more proactive to let the captain know that he is not cleared on any part of runway 24R.

Title: B737 CREW HAD RWY INCURSION.

Narrative: LAX TWR INSTRUCTED OUR FLT TO CROSS RWY 24L AND HOLD SHORT RWY 24R AT TXWY V. TWR THEN REQUESTED A 180 DEG TURN IN ORDER TO HOLD SHORT RWY 24L AT TXWY V. CAPT XMITTED THAT WE COULD COMPLY AND ADDED PWR TO START ACFT ROLLING. ACFT ROLLED OVER HOLD SHORT LINE TO RWY 24R. I SIMULTANEOUSLY INFORMED HIM THAT WE HAD AN ACFT ON FINAL FOR RWY 24R. WE STOPPED WITH OUR ACFT PARTIALLY OVER HOLD SHORT LINE FOR RWY 24R. WE INFORMED TWR THAT WE NEEDED APCH END OF RWY 24R TO ACCOMPLISH 180 DEG TURN. THEY APPROVED REQUEST AND WE EXITED RWY 24R WITH FINAL APCH ACFT AT 2 NM. SOLUTION: DON'T MOVE THE ACFT UNTIL YOU'RE SURE THAT YOU CAN MANEUVER AS REQUESTED. I SHOULD HAVE BEEN MORE PROACTIVE TO LET THE CAPT KNOW THAT HE IS NOT CLRED ON ANY PART OF RWY 24R.
