Narrative:
On descent on the cameron 3 arrival into jfk airport, got clearance to cross hoggs intersection at FL190. Misjudged crossing, crossed slightly high. Promptly leveled at FL190. Controller showed no sign of concern. No aircraft conflict. No TCASII warning. Should have told ATC crossing was going to be close even believing we would make it. Used best means to get down.

Narrative: ON DSCNT ON THE CAMERON 3 ARR INTO JFK ARPT, GOT CLRNC TO CROSS HOGGS INTXN AT FL190. MISJUDGED XING, CROSSED SLIGHTLY HIGH. PROMPTLY LEVELED AT FL190. CTLR SHOWED NO SIGN OF CONCERN. NO ACFT CONFLICT. NO TCASII WARNING. SHOULD HAVE TOLD ATC XING WAS GOING TO BE CLOSE EVEN BELIEVING WE WOULD MAKE IT. USED BEST MEANS TO GET DOWN.
