Narrative:

On jun/xa/99, mechanic uuz wyxx and myself were called out on aircraft xyz for a right engine bleed EICAS message. We had decided that one person will go bite the air supply box while the other person called technical services. I bite the air supply box and found a faulting right prsov. Mechanic uuz called technical services and told him of our findings. Uuz told me that technical services told him to placard the right prsov which I did. I locked out the right engine prsov. I was told by a crew chief in abc who reviewed the logbook today that there was a discrepancy with my procedure that when the aircraft flew to XXX from abc, the XXX mechanics found the wrong valve placarded and locked out. They then reinstated the right engine prsov and locked the right hpsov to properly comply with the MEL.
