Narrative:

Aircraft came to the gate XA45. On inspection of tires and brakes, found #2 tire worn into cord and #4 tire worn, cut, and out of round, plus brake worn. I checked logbook for additional write up, and cabin log. At that time, started to change tires and brake. Then finished with the job at XB30, and went to lunch, and started paperwork for tire and brake. While at lunch, the word went through the lunchroom that the FAA was on the aircraft. They said I should have signed something off on service check. Work in progress while FAA came through. Accomplished service check after lunch.
