Narrative:

Descending from 8000 ft to 7000 ft during the approach. As we were cleared to intercept the localizer, IMC, we experienced heavy rain. We got a GPWS warning, terrain and the radar altimeter rapidly counting down. The aircraft was on autoplt at the time of the alert. I took control of the aircraft and executed a GPWS escape maneuver. During the recovery we encountered a windshear alert.
