Narrative:

Where runway 7L and runway 1L intersect is very confusing at night. We were cleared for takeoff on runway 7L after sitting in position for several mins. I asked the captain if this picture out the window looked right because I could see red lights that looked like centerline lights and some red stop bars, maybe 4 lights wide, embedded in the concrete. It seemed fine to him and I thought we were lined up. When cleared for takeoff, it appeared to me something wasn't right with the way we were traveling. After calling 'set power' and I could see lights moving, I could tell we were well to the right of the runway 7L centerline. In fact, the captain initially had lined up with the runway edge lights because there are no centerline lights for that runway. I added left rudder as it became clear what the situation was. The captain initially queried my left rudder input then realized afterwards what the situation was. Fortunately, the area of that runway intersection is all concrete and we took off without incident.

Title: FLC EXPERIENCED DIFFICULTY DETERMINING THE ACFT'S POS ON LAS RWY 7L AND RWY 1L JUNCTION AND LINED UP ON THE RED RWY EDGE LIGHTS.

Narrative: WHERE RWY 7L AND RWY 1L INTERSECT IS VERY CONFUSING AT NIGHT. WE WERE CLRED FOR TKOF ON RWY 7L AFTER SITTING IN POS FOR SEVERAL MINS. I ASKED THE CAPT IF THIS PICTURE OUT THE WINDOW LOOKED RIGHT BECAUSE I COULD SEE RED LIGHTS THAT LOOKED LIKE CTRLINE LIGHTS AND SOME RED STOP BARS, MAYBE 4 LIGHTS WIDE, EMBEDDED IN THE CONCRETE. IT SEEMED FINE TO HIM AND I THOUGHT WE WERE LINED UP. WHEN CLRED FOR TKOF, IT APPEARED TO ME SOMETHING WASN'T RIGHT WITH THE WAY WE WERE TRAVELING. AFTER CALLING 'SET PWR' AND I COULD SEE LIGHTS MOVING, I COULD TELL WE WERE WELL TO THE R OF THE RWY 7L CTRLINE. IN FACT, THE CAPT INITIALLY HAD LINED UP WITH THE RWY EDGE LIGHTS BECAUSE THERE ARE NO CTRLINE LIGHTS FOR THAT RWY. I ADDED L RUDDER AS IT BECAME CLR WHAT THE SIT WAS. THE CAPT INITIALLY QUERIED MY L RUDDER INPUT THEN REALIZED AFTERWARDS WHAT THE SIT WAS. FORTUNATELY, THE AREA OF THAT RWY INTXN IS ALL CONCRETE AND WE TOOK OFF WITHOUT INCIDENT.
