Narrative:

On a radar imaging flight at FL260 operating across the hunter MOA. We were on pass #4. On all previous passes the course reversals were all southeast of the track line. In the middle of the course reversal, ZOA asked which direction we were going to turn. During the discourse it became obvious the first officer and controller were not communicating. As I reached for the microphone button, I inadvertently brushed the go around button and disconnected the autoplt. Since I was now busy explaining to controller that this reversal was just like the previous 3 reversals, I missed the autoplt disconnect and we lost approximately 350 ft in the reversal turn. As soon as I saw the altitude deviation, we reversed immediately to FL260.
