Narrative:

During taxi-in after normal landing, noticed left inboard brake temperature warmer than other brakes. Temperature was increasing as we approached the gate. Advised dfw operations to keep ground personnel away from left gear. Brake temperature overheat light came on. After completing parking check, I went to ramp. A baggage handler told me he thought he saw a flame on the left brake. I went back to cockpit and directed my first officer to call for fire trucks. I then told the lead flight attendant to expedite the deplaning process. I then went back to the ramp. The fire trucks arrived and proceeded to extinguish the fire. All communication procedures were reviewed and complied with. There was no injury to anyone. Brakes and tires were replaced and aircraft departed approximately 4 hours later.
