Narrative:

Captain's emergency authority/authorized for WX deviation. Flying toward targa and bermuda encountered a heavy line of thunderstorms. Requested and received clearance for a 30 NM deviation to the west of course. Requested and received clearance for a 60 NM deviation. Requested clearance to continue deviation to 90 NM as we approached the line of WX. Did not receive the clearance for awhile. Used captain's emergency authority/authorized to continue around thunderstorms. Did periodic broadcasts on guard-monitored TCASII, and turned on all lights. Eventually received clearance to deviate 90 NM. Rest of flight was uneventful, saw no other aircraft on TCASII during deviation, nor did anyone answer us on guard frequency.
