Later, captain discovers the fuel imbal light is indicating an actual imbal which is subsequently corrected. Reporter realizes that he must learn to see what he is looking at.

Narrative: IN SUM: FO OF B767 FINDS SEVERAL SWITCHES OUT OF NORMAL POS ON PREFLT CHK. ONE SWITCH OUT OF POS IS NOT FOUND. LATER, CAPT DISCOVERS THE FUEL IMBAL LIGHT IS INDICATING AN ACTUAL IMBAL WHICH IS SUBSEQUENTLY CORRECTED. RPTR REALIZES THAT HE MUST LEARN TO SEE WHAT HE IS LOOKING AT.
