Narrative:

Upon arrival at cmh, taxied into gate. Marshaller and wing walkers in place with lighted wands. As aircraft entered gate, aircraft slowed and increased thrust at approximately 4-6 ft prior to stop line. Ingested air conditioning duct into #1 engine. Shut down #1 engine, then shut down #2 engine. Aircraft towed the rest of the way into the gate.

Title: AN AIRBUS 320'S #1 ENG INGESTED THE AIR CONDITIONING HOSE TAXIING INTO THE GATE AT CMH.

Narrative: UPON ARR AT CMH, TAXIED INTO GATE. MARSHALLER AND WING WALKERS IN PLACE WITH LIGHTED WANDS. AS ACFT ENTERED GATE, ACFT SLOWED AND INCREASED THRUST AT APPROX 4-6 FT PRIOR TO STOP LINE.
