Narrative:
First flight of the day, performed ttl test. Engine instruments would not stabilize. Maintenance was contacted, performed another ttl test. Then noticed a lot of smoke coming from the left engine. Shut engine down. Performed emergency checklist and evacuate/evacuationed aircraft through the right overwing exit only. No injuries incurred.

Title: BA32 CREW EVACED THEIR ACFT ON THE RAMP.
Narrative: FIRST FLT OF THE DAY, PERFORMED TTL TEST. ENG INSTS WOULD NOT STABILIZE. MAINT WAS CONTACTED, PERFORMED ANOTHER TTL TEST. THEN NOTICED A LOT OF SMOKE COMING FROM THE L ENG. SHUT ENG DOWN. PERFORMED EMER CHKLIST AND EVACED ACFT THROUGH THE R OVERWING EXIT ONLY. NO INJURIES INCURRED.
