Narrative:

We just leveled off at FL200 and started to configure for cruise flight when we heard a loud popping sound and the rushing of air. We declared an emergency with ZBW as we started the emergency procedures for cabin decompression and an emergency descent to 10000 ft. Upon reaching 10000 ft, we proceeded to plb without further incident. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: crew was flying a beech 1900D aircraft. This was the second emergency descent the aircraft had in a week. The main passenger entrance door seal was found split and caused the pressure loss. The next 2 door seals installed by maintenance also failed. Maintenance attributes these problems to a small dent in the aircraft door sill. The crew changed aircraft at that point and does not know any further information.

Title: BE02 CREW LOST CABIN PRESSURIZATION.

Narrative: WE JUST LEVELED OFF AT FL200 AND STARTED TO CONFIGURE FOR CRUISE FLT WHEN WE HEARD A LOUD POPPING SOUND AND THE RUSHING OF AIR. WE DECLARED AN EMER WITH ZBW AS WE STARTED THE EMER PROCS FOR CABIN DECOMPRESSION AND AN EMER DSCNT TO 10000 FT. UPON REACHING 10000 FT, WE PROCEEDED TO PLB WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: CREW WAS FLYING A BEECH 1900D ACFT. THIS WAS THE SECOND EMER DSCNT THE ACFT HAD IN A WK. THE MAIN PAX ENTRANCE DOOR SEAL WAS FOUND SPLIT AND CAUSED THE PRESSURE LOSS. THE NEXT 2 DOOR SEALS INSTALLED BY MAINT ALSO FAILED. MAINT ATTRIBUTES THESE PROBS TO A SMALL DENT IN THE ACFT DOOR SILL. THE CREW CHANGED ACFT AT THAT POINT AND DOES NOT KNOW ANY FURTHER INFO.
