Narrative:

We were cleared to cross 'jaybo' at 15000 ft (as published). I acknowledged the clearance and the captain (PF) set it up in the FMC. In retrospect, I realize now that we were past the FMC computed TOD (top of descent) and therefore the descent wasn't initiated. We must have been distracted and didn't pick up on this. The controller notified us that we were supposed to cross 'jaybo' at 15000 ft. At that point we initiated an expedited descent.
